I'm here to guide your fitness journey. With over a decade of experience and a Master's degree in Physical Activity and Health, I’ve helped hundreds achieve their fitness goals.
 
Since 2012, I have dedicated myself to physical conditioning, working with clients to achieve aesthetic improvements and address issues such as osteoarticular problems, muscular imbalances, and postural issues leading to back pain.

Redefining Success in Health and Fitness

Inspiring Change, One Client at a Time: Over the past ten years, I've guided countless individuals towards their fitness goals, from aesthetics to health challenges.

Joana, 49

Joana experienced limited success with her local physiotherapist and kinesiologist in treating her hip injury, stemming from a fall on black ice. The resulting pain was persistent and chronic, compounded by a period of inactivity during the COVID-19 lockdown that led to weight gain.

Given Joana's struggles, my approach began with a thorough assessment of her mobility, balance, posture, and overall physical fitness. It became clear that Joana needed to improve her mobility, especially since she spent most of her time sitting. Additionally, strengthening her core and hip muscles, particularly the glutes, was essential. Following the Pareto principle, we focused on addressing these areas to maximize results.

 

Joana's journey was not without its ups and downs, but after several months, progress became evident. Her pain decreased in intensity and frequency, and she gained confidence in her ability to manage her hip injury. Over the course of a year, Joana lost almost 20 pounds and an impressive 20.5% body fat.
 
Upon completing our plan, Joana embarked on a journey to fulfill one of her dreams, symbolizing her newfound confidence and vitality. Reflecting on our approach, several key strategies emerged:
 
  1. Conducting a comprehensive assessment to understand where to begin and where to go.
  2. Tailoring core-strengthening exercises to Joana's body type, mobility, and balance.
  3. Regaining lost mobility through short, easy-to-do movements is crucial for restoring confidence.
  4. Improving Joana's diet without eliminating her favourite foods, emphasizing long-term balance and a healthy relationship with food.
  5. Embracing consistency, mindfulness, and involvement in the process, supported by daily check-ups and accountability.
Ultimately, Joana's journey illustrates that true happiness lies not in contentment, but in the pursuit of responsibility and sacrifice. 

In my fitness program, I don't prioritize before-and-after photos. I believe health involves more than looks. I concentrate on holistic transformation, valuing lifelong wellness over external changes.
